Meredith Boe is a writer and editor living in Chicago. She writes creative prose and poetry and runs a freelance business copywriting, proofreading, and writing grants for nonprofits.
Meredith graduated from DePaul University’s MA in Writing and Publishing program in 2013, and has since worked on contracts for a book publisher and a marketing agency. Her short stories, essays, and poems have appeared in Threshold, From the Depths, Midwestern Gothic, Mud Season Review, and Burningword. Her critique has appeared in World Literature Today magazine, Chicago Book Review, and Chicago Stage Standard. She sometimes writes poems on a typewriter at events around Chicago with the poetry-on-demand group, Poems While You Wait.
