Meredith Boe is a freelance writer and editor living in Chicago. She writes creative prose and poetry, in addition to grants proposals for local nonprofits, articles, blog posts, and website copy for a variety of companies worldwide.
Meredith’s short prose collection What City is a winner of Paper Nautilus’s 2018 Debut Series Chapbook Contest, and is forthcoming in early 2019. Her short stories, essays, and poems have appeared in the Chicago Reader, After Hours, Burningword, Mud Season Review, Midwestern Gothic, and From the Depths. Her critique has appeared in World Literature Today magazine and the Chicago Review of Books. She sometimes writes poems on a typewriter at events around Chicago with the poetry-on-demand group, Poems While You Wait.
