Meredith Boe is a Pushcart Prize–nominated writer, editor, and poet. Her short prose collection What City was a winner of Paper Nautilus’s 2018 Debut Series Chapbook Contest, and her creative work has appeared in Sad Girls Diaries, Passengers Journal, Newfound, Chicago Reader, After Hours, Burningword, Mud Season Review, Midwestern Gothic, From the Depths, and elsewhere. She contributes to the Chicago Review of Books, Another Chicago Magazine, The Pickup, and TulsaPeople. She sometimes writes poems on a typewriter at events with the poetry-on-demand group, Poems While You Wait.
Meredith also writes grant proposals for arts nonprofits, contributes articles and copy for companies around the globe, and copyedits textbooks.
She is an avid supporter of the Oxford comma, plays classical piano, and can usually be found somewhere between Chicago, Tulsa, and the Central Coast of California.
